Mayan Families Social Network was created so people who are interested in Mayan Families Programs can learn more or share ideas about how we can help Mayan Families help the poor families who desperately need a “Hand Up”.

People who have visited can share what they have learned about the Mayan Families Programs with those who would like to know more.

We can share ideas about how to send supplies to Guatemala or take part in Volunteer or Fundraising Opportunities.

By working together to help others we can make such a difference to those who have nothing.

Information on the Chicken "Bucks for Clucks" Project

The gift of baby chicks helps provide a needy family in Guatemala with a sustainable diet of protein from eggs, meat, and a supplemental income from selling extra eggs and chickens at market. A $3.50 donation to Mayan Families will allow a poverty stricken family in Guatemala to receive one chick in your honor. This will cover the chick, feed and supplies to build a coop. The gift of baby chicks is a life-sustaining gift that keeps on giving! Thank You!!!!!
